Steve Evans
In 1995 Steve began his recruitment career where he was exposed to a revolutionary new concept, the online job board (where job specs were faxed to be loaded up overnight to the internet). By 2001 he was a UK Director for TMP.Worldwide and won the Monster.com European Reseller of the Year award.
Since 2002 he has successfully worked in the media sector, firstly as Head of Recruitment Sales for a business legal publisher and then at Madgex, one of the UK’s leading job board software providers to media companies.
The return to recruitment was instigated by the recognition that good recruitment practices have been largely lost with the growth of online recruitment tools. Most recruiters seem to be solely relying on applicants applying to adverts and farming database resumes. The best applicant may not always apply and will always need to be effectively managed through the process. It’s this honesty and integrity combined with hard work and an understanding of what it takes in this industry that makes this approach so valuable to clients.
